On May 14, 2012 the Groton Board of Education approved a modification to the 2011-2012 calendar. The modification provides for an early release day on June 13th for the following schools only: Mary Morrisson, West Side Middle School, Fitch Middle School and Cutler Middle School. This adjustment is to provide teachers the time to make the necessary preparations for asbestos abatement at Mary Morrisson and for middle school transition planning respectively.
