An important predictor of success in life is educational achievement. It is the mission of Mary Morrisson Elementary School to provide its' students with opportunities designed to develop their talents and abilities to reach this goal. Mary Morrisson School will strive to meet individual needs and to provide each child with experiences that promote growth in all areas of development: academic, social, and emotional. Through mutual respect within the whole school community, our children will grow and learn in a positive environment where students, parents, faculty, and staff are enthusiastic about the teaching and learning process.

GOAL 1			Literacy-Student performance will increase 10% in the LA strands-Making Connections/Content and Structure and Composing/Revising, as measured by the 2010 CMT.
GOAL 2			Numeracy-Student performance will increase 10% in the Math strands-Time, Measurement and Estimation, as measured by the 2010 CMT.
GOAL 3			Climate-A Welcoming Environment for a diverse community of learners and their families will be promoted, as measured by parent surveys.
GOAL 4			Behavioral-Ninety percent of students will complete homework assignments on a regular basis, as measured by teacher reports.
