The Groton BOE has updated the district policy forvolunteers with the following new procedures:
1. The volunteer application and release form for volunteers has been added to the district website under the Human Resource section.
2. Going forward, all new volunteers must complete the online application via the Groton Public Schools Website that will include a criminal background check and DCF check before volunteering in any Groton school.
3. Our existing volunteers will be expected to complete the application over the next several months in preparation for the new school year. We encourage you to complete the forms anytime between Spring and August to be sure you are ready to go for next school year!
