Elementary Redistricting Information

Groton Public Schools have contracted Milone & MacBroom, Inc. to develop an elementary redistricting plan to present to the State Department of Education this fall.  The plan is intended to alleviate overcrowding as well as address state mandates.
 

Upcoming Elementary School Redistricting Meetings

 

The following meetings are planned to give all parents and families an opportunity to learn and ask questions about the proposed redistricting plan. Anyone is welcome to attend any or all meetings however, the neighborhood meetings will be geared towards certain areas of the community, as listed.

December 12, 2012; 7:30pm at Claude Chester - A community-wide meeting introducing the proposed elementary redistricting plan

 

October 17, 2012; 6pm at Catherine Kolnaski – A neighborhood meeting for families impacted by proposed changes to Kolnaski and surrounding districts.

 

October 24, 2012; 6pm at Mary Morrisson – A neighborhood meeting for families impacted by proposed changes to Morrisson and surrounding districts.

 

November 1, 2012; 6pm at Claude Chester – A neighborhood meeting  for families impacted by proposed changes to Chester and surrounding districts.
