The District Quality Council (DQC) assists each School Improvement Team in the research, development, implementation, evaluation and sustainability of sound parent engagement programs and activities. These programs and activities are directly aligned to current District curricula.
The DQC strives to foster partnerships between the District's schools and community agencies in an effort to maximize the resources available for educating the District's children.
The DQC consists of two members from each SIT; the Superintendent; a Board of Education member; the DQC Co-chairpersons; and at large members drawn from Central Office; the community; and the District School, Family, Community Partnership facilitators. They meet monthly during the school year.
