Naval Submarine Base New London's School Liaison Officer (SLO) can support
your famliy as you transition into or out of the Groton area.
Serving as a bases subject matter expert for Youth Education, School Transition,
Deployment Impact, and K-12 School issues, the SLO acts as the conduit to provide
information, make referrals, and educate families. The SLO also supports command
partnership in education efforts and facilitates school-based transition and
deployment support programming in the community.
