Is an organization comprised of parents, teachers, staff and administrators whose goal is to promote the best interests of students at Cutler Middle School. It was founded to facilitate communication between Parents and Teachers, support a positive learning environment and provide materials and programming to benefit the school community.

ü I want Cutler Middle School to be one of the best schools in Connecticut
ü I want my child to have a great school year – to learn and to have fun!
ü I want to help decide how PTO fundraising moneys are spent.
ü I want all the students at Cutler Middle School be successful.
If the above statements are true, then “help us help the school”. Parent involvement is critical for a successful school, so please consider volunteering as a PTO officer in 2013-2014. We have an empty Co-Chair position and our Secretary, Lisa Tess, is an eighth grade parent and this is her last year at Cutler Middle School.
Elections for the Co-Chair and Secretary positions will be held at the PTO Monthly Meeting on Tuesday, May 21st (Media Center 6:45-7:45pm). If you are interested in one, or both, of the following positions on the PTO Board, please nominate yourself by submitting a brief description of yourself to the PTO mailbox in the office, or email to deborah_a_johnson@excite.com by May 13:
Co-Chairs – Serve as Co-Chair for the PTO; preside at all PTO meetings; appoint chairpersons for special committees; coordinate the work of the officers and committees so that the PTO’s objectives can be met. Attend monthly Groton Parent Council meetings.
Secretary - Keep the minutes of all general meetings and all meeting of the Executive Board; prepare correspondence and perform all other duties assigned; keep the calendar of events for the PTO. (3-4 hours per month, includes attending meeting and typing up minutes)
Dedicated teachers, staff, and PARENTS help make Cutler Middle School a great school!

Domino’s Pizza Card Fundraiser
To raise funds for an End-of-the-Year School Celebration.
A supply of “Delivering the Dough®” fundraising cards were donated to the Cutler PTO.
We are selling these cards for $10 apiece.
The cards include 16 “Buy-One-Get-One” peel-off coupons that are accepted at participating Domino’s Pizza locations.
May Events: May 13 - Nominations for PTO Co-Chair and Secretary positions are due (scroll up for details)
May 14 - Groton Parent Council Monthly Meeting: Fitch High School Media Center, 5:30-6:30pm.
May 20 - Staff Appreciation Lunceon, Teacher Lounge, 11:00am-1:30pm.
