Spring has sprung in Room 2! We are growing as readers and writers! Your child may have mentioned that we do a Daily 5 routine every morning. This is a time when your child chooses to work at different work areas. They choose from: working on writing, word work, listening to reading, reading to self or spelling. I also meet with reading groups at this time. In the afternoon, we have Writing Workshop. Students learn good writing skills and share their finished work.
