We have been observing the life cycle of a ladybug in our science center for the past two weeks. 4/30/13 We started out with ladybug larvae, which had just hatched from ladybug eggs. We watched them grow and eat for 10 days. 5/10/13 The larvae began to curl up and attach themselves to the habitat. In a matter of hours, a hard shell like covering surrounded the ladybug larvae. Here they are in the pupa stage.
5/12/13 Just two days later, the ladybugs began to emerge from the pupa stage.
Please feel free to check our classroom website frequently to learn about upcoming events and preschool happenings!☺
